Okay, I know I haven’t updated in a while. Almost a month, actually. But there have been some things I’ve wanted to talk about during that time, I’ve just been fairly busy with an internship, moving, and Christmas preparations. But, since I have some time now, I thought I’d comment on something that recently caught my attention, for a couple of reasons.
Okay, I know this issue has been debated thoroughly, and probably isn’t the best topic choice for my first real post here. But, abortion has been in the news in Saskatoon lately (here, here and here) and even caught national attention in the Globe and Mail (here). And, while most of the comments on these stories argue along the usual lines, I realized, reading some of them, that there are things that I certainly didn’t know, and that others may not know, as well. So, I thought I’d give the topic a shot. But I completely understand if you don’t want to read any further than this. So, if you don’t want to read about it, stop here.

You’re probably wondering what, exactly, I intend to write about here. Well, the truth is, I can’t say, exactly. I have an idea of what I’d like to write about, but we all know that what we’d like isn’t always what we get. But, that’s only part of the reason. See, the reason I started this blog is because I felt like I needed a place to comment on, well, comments.
